I should state up front - my LJ is not worksafe for various definitions of worksafe. I am a photographer, and I shoot, among other genres, glamour, artistic and implied nudes. I post them in my LJ. If having them come up in your friends page is bad, I politely suggest that you either do not friend me, or use LJ's wonderful filtering capabilities. In communities where it's a rule, I will cut for NWS. In my personal journal, I will not. I would never ask you to conduct your personal journal by my rules.
That said, if you enjoy my photography and missives, feel free to friend me without needing to ask. I don't really post friends-only at all, prefering to filter my posts if I have something only for a specific group. Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything.
If you're a model (or just want to be) considering asking to work with me, please feel free. I work with amateurs as well as professionals, and have been many people's "first shoot."
